Shargreen leather earrings in a gorgeous blue.
Shargreen leather comes from stingrays. The majority is farmed around south East Asia for food, with the skins forming a beautiful by-product. Shargreen is unusual, decorative and so durable that it was used for armour in Japan.
It has an unusual surface, made up of incredibly hard, bead-like sections.

The earring is mounted onto silver (925) fish hook earring backs. the other metal fixtures are silver-coloured metal (may contain nickel).
The back of the earrings has been left untreated, so has a suede-like finish.
